**Art Director**
to join our in-house creative team. In this role, you’ll be at the center of all things brand and find yourself at the intersection of brand, content, digital, and creative execution. You will be both a visionary and a creative thinker, able to develop brilliant visual concepts and understand how they contribute to our growth. This role is based in our Zurich office, with a focus on in-office collaboration (5 days per week) to work closely with the creative and marketing teams.
Specifically, in this role, you will be involved in collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative and compelling visual solutions that meet project objectives and elevate brand identity. To excel in this role, you must be a highly skilled designer who can deliver outstanding creative concepts and high-quality visual execution, while ensuring consistency across all media. Our role spans all channels, creating high-quality digital campaigns and websites to compelling offline creative assets. This role requires a deep understanding of two very different audiences: American host families and young adults from around the world who become part of their families, translating those insights into relevant and resonant creative work.
You will report to our Creative Director, based in Zurich. As part of our truly global team, you’ll work from our Zurich office, with constant collaboration with our team in Boston, US.
**What You'll Do**
- Drive art direction across all creative projects, from brand expression and visual concepting to hands-on digital and print production, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality visual identity across every touchpoint.
- Partner with the creative team to drive creative ideation and concepting, and present creative work confidently to stakeholders, including marketing directors, sales directors, and senior leadership.
- Design and oversee the production of marketing assets across digital channels (social, email, web, paid media) and offline formats, maintaining consistency and quality at scale.
- Provide art direction for video and photo productions, from brief development through production, ensuring all visual output aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives, and a high level of creative quality.
- Champion innovative, forward-thinking creative solutions — staying ahead of digital trends, platform shifts, and emerging tools (including AI) to keep Cultural Care's creative output fresh and competitive.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with a global marketing team, managing multiple campaigns and creative workstreams simultaneously with strong organisational and collaboration skills.
**Who You Are**
- You are deeply passionate about visual creativity. Collaborating with other creatives and your ability to inspire, identify, and nurture the best visual ideas through execution are what drive you. You thrive in open and collaborative environments, fostering teams that are supportive and empowering.
- You embrace the unknown with enthusiasm, eagerly exploring new ideas rather than relying on established norms. You bring strong, up-to-date knowledge of creative technologies, platforms, and trends, staying on top of social trends across channels and emerging tools, including AI, and translating these into high-quality creative for our target audiences.
- You are both a conceptual thinker and a hands-on contributor, unafraid to dive into tasks in a collaborative setting. You are also an agile thinker who can seamlessly transition between diverse projects.
- You have experience working across global brands, campaigns and creative initiatives, with a focus on the United States as well as Europe and Latin America.
