**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced
**Buying Manager**
to lead the
**Dickies EMEA assortment selection and buying strategy**
, supporting the development of a winning product offer aligned with the brand’s strategic business and growth objectives.

This role plays a central part in driving best practices across the buying function, ensuring consistency, and supporting innovation and growth in line with brand and company objectives. The Buying Manager will work cross‑functionally with key commercial partners to deliver a compelling, commercially successful assortment across all EMEA channels.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Buying Process & Trading**

- Define and implement the
**Dickies EMEA Buying Strategy**
in line with business targets and growth objectives
- Plan, build, and maintain a targeted brand offer by anticipating customer needs and delivering well‑balanced, compelling product ranges
- Manage
**OTB allocation and buying sign‑off**
, aligned with the critical path and seasonal planning cycle
- Optimize OTB to maximize return while meeting sales, margin, and profitability targets
- Partner closely with key commercial functions to support the seasonal
**Go‑To‑Market (GTM)**
process
- Ensure product ranges align with brand strategy, maintaining consistency in quality, value, and pricing
- Benchmark assortments against market competitors and growth objectives
- Develop deep customer and market understanding across all EMEA territories and distribution channels
- Collaborate closely with Product Merchandising to ensure the right balance of newness, innovation, and volume drivers
- Lead regular cross‑functional product reviews to ensure alignment throughout the buying and seasonal planning process
- Partner with DTC Planning on forecasting, in‑season performance, and trading actions
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine category and overall product strategy
- Analyze trading performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose timely corrective actions
- Work with Planning to manage stock levels, margins, and profitability
- Take proactive trading decisions to maximize sales and minimize risk

**Qualifications & Experience**

- **University degree**
or equivalent, preferably in Business, Merchandising, or Economics
- **5+ years of experience**
in Buying, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, or Allocation, ideally within a major lifestyle or consumer brand
- Strong experience working in
**complex, matrix organizations**
- Excellent
**analytical and commercial mindset**
, with the ability to manage complex processes
- Proficient in
**Microsoft Office tools**
, with strong knowledge of ERP systems and sales tools
- Results‑driven, goal‑oriented, and highly organized
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills across multiple departments
- **Fluent in English**
(additional languages are a plus)
