**About The Company**
****About Lorum****
Global payments are not broken. Incentives are. Clearing has been deprioritised inside balance sheet driven institutions whose models rely on lending and interest. When liquidity takes priority over settlement, payments slow and certainty drops. The same financial institutions that distort clearing as providers are disadvantaged as users. They are forced into fragmented setups, inconsistent rails, duplicated compliance, and unpredictable timelines. Stablecoin shortcuts and treasury pooling treat symptoms at the surface, but almost no one is rebuilding the underlying infrastructure in each market.
****Rebuilding clearing from the ground up****
We are rebuilding clearing as its own specialist function. We act as a clearing and transaction banking partner for regulated institutions, with treasury built into the core so liquidity, settlement, and reconciliation sit in one controlled system.
Our platform unifies global and local licenses, direct central bank clearing, and domestic rails. We allow clients to open named customer accounts in every market we operate, collecting funds and paying out through a single network while retaining full ownership of their customer relationships. Market expansion becomes as simple as one correspondent relationship, not hundreds.
****Why Lorum****
Joining Lorum means contributing to one of the most ambitious clearing infrastructure projects in global finance. You will help shape settlement systems that perform under real regulatory standards and institutional volumes. You will build for regulated institutions that rely on precision, predictable timelines, and regulatory integrity. It is about working across currencies, markets, and supervisory frameworks to deliver reliable, final settlement.
**About The Role**
**Role purpose**
We're looking for a GTM Engineer who builds the outbound and prospecting systems that drive Lorum's growth. You will design data enrichment pipelines, AI-powered outreach workflows, and personalised prospect assets at scale. Our clients are regulated financial institutions. Everything you build needs to be precise, systematic, and built to compound over time. This is not consumer fintech.
**Key Responsibilities**
Outbound and prospecting
- Build and optimise outbound prospecting engines, from list building and enrichment to sequencing and personalisation. You own the system that gets us in front of the right people.
- Design and build GTM systems: data enrichment pipelines, lead scoring models, routing logic, signal-based workflows. Clay is your primary canvas.
AI-powered assets and workflows
- Use LLMs and automation to create personalised landing pages, micro-sites, outreach materials, and research workflows at scale. Think one-to-one at one-to-many speed.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and sales: run feedback loops, present your work, and translate business bottlenecks into clean, repeatable systems.
**Ideal candidate**
Must-haves
- Clay expertise: you've spent real time in Clay and can show the work. This is your primary tool.
- AI-first mindset: you use AI tools daily, not as a novelty but as core infrastructure. You reach for Claude or GPT before you reach for a spreadsheet. You're building with AI, not just prompting it.
- Systems thinker: you see the whole picture. Data flows, dependencies, edge cases, failure modes. You design systems that are robust, not just functional.
- Natural problem solver: when something doesn't work, you figure it out. You read docs, reverse-engineer APIs, test hypotheses, and find a path forward.
- Self-directed but team-oriented: you can operate independently and drive projects to completion. But you also thrive in a team, share knowledge openly, and make the people around you better.
- Constantly learning: this space moves fast. New tools, new data sources, new techniques every week. Keep yourself up to speed because you're genuinely curious.
- Technical connector: find new data sources, connect APIs, evaluate and integrate new tools into a tech stack. You're comfortable reading API docs and building integrations.
Nice-to-haves
- Vibecoding and Claude Code: if you're already building functional apps, landing pages, or internal tools by prompting AI rather than writing code from scratch, you'll fit right in. This is where we're heading.
- n8n or similar workflow automation experience: if you've built production workflows in n8n, Make, or Zapier, you'll ramp faster.
- Fintech or payments industry experience: understanding of clearing, settlement, or custody infrastructure is a bonus.
**Benefits**
- Opportunity to travel (if applicable)
- Flexible vacation policy
- Private Healthcare
- Employee stock ownership (ESOP)
- Flexible working and autonomy
- Pay it forward days - we offer 2 annual pay it forward days where you can take time to volunteer for a charitable cause that is important to you.
- Wellness days - we believe you can only work your best when you feel your best, and we know working at Lorum is intense, so we offer 3 wellness days every quarter where you can take time to re-energise.
